Ms. J.E. (Judith) Franx
Judith Franx completed both bachelor's degrees in Law and Pedagogical Sciences at Leiden University. During her studies she gained broad experience in family and juvenile law, including volunteering at the Child and Adolescent Law Clinic Leiden and various legal internships. After an internship at the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, she completed an internship at Kötter, L'Homme & Plasman Lawyers - an experience that led to an ongoing collaboration.
Judith distinguishes herself by her person-centered approach where she believes it is important that clients feel heard. Because of her pedagogical background, she does not lose sight of the best interests of the child in juvenile matters. Besides being described as reliable, she is known for her realistic outlook. Because of her honesty, people know immediately where they stand. Judith is capable of getting to the heart of the matter, so that she can achieve the desired result as quickly as possible with a goal-oriented approach.
Judith supports the lawyers in a variety of areas. With her substantive knowledge, careful approach and broad social background, she makes a valuable contribution to handling cases. In September 2025, she will start her Master's degree in Private Law at VU University Amsterdam, with a clear focus on family and juvenile law.
