Mr. J.L. (Jordi) L'Homme

Mr. J.L. (Jordi) L'Homme

After working for a period at several renowned law firms and various organizations within the judiciary, Jordi L'Homme followed his heart and started working as a lawyer for his then teacher Peter Plasman. Jordi L'Homme's talent quickly matured and in a very short period of time he developed into an excellent criminal lawyer, appreciated by all litigants and (not to mention) very many clients.

Good things come fast, and that certainly applies to Jordi L'Homme, who as a lawyer has already built up an impressive criminal law practice, in which he handles complex (and socially sensitive) cases, such as the Hague alderman suspected (and acquitted) of corruption, the Hedel extortion case and the Marengo liquidation trial. He is a passionate and versatile lawyer who not only acts in courts and tribunals, but is also skilled in the more legally complex proceedings at the Supreme Court of the Netherlands (cassation cases). Jordi L'Homme also assists relatives and victims in complicated and sensitive criminal trials.

As a lawyer, Jordi L'Homme can best be characterized as razor-sharp and tenacious, but also connective. He is an excellent lawyer, but also has the quality to turn his knowledge and strategic insight into a convincing story in court. However, a good defense is not only presented in court, but also through optimal preparation prior to the criminal trial. Jordi L'Homme invests in his clients' preparation and provides clear guidance.

All with one goal in mind: the best result for your criminal case.

The Supreme Court has permanently upheld the conviction of former alderman Guernaoui for violating the duty of confidentiality. Guernaoui had forwarded a confidential official email to an entrepreneur during his aldermanhip, which the court found punishable, but for which no penalty was imposed. In cassation, the Supreme Court ruled that the court had applied the law correctly and had given sufficient reasons for its ruling. Further appeals are not possible.
